Custom Squarespace Website Design
I connected with this client through Instagram and loved her vibes! Laura Wise is a writer, speaker and content creator that helps other female freelancers build a profitable career. She had recently gone through a re-brand, and needed to update her Squarespace site to reflect her brand and services that she was now offering.
We began the project by mapping out the user experience. I created a map of the site, and wireframed the home page to determine the hierarchy of information that the viewer would be presented with on first visit to the website. After we finalized the flow of the site and homepage, I then moved on to the actual design. The client had a lot of beautiful new photos and images for me to use, and a newly redesigned logo and logo-mark to use as well.
The client wanted a vibrant but clean and minimal look across the website, and the final design reflected that request. A clean white background throughout the site consistently helps the red and tan brand colors, as well as the bright photos, really stand out with great contrast and balance.
The website is an 8-page site, and includes a blog, online store, and 2 landing pages. It is fully responsive, uses best web design practices, and is fully accessible by the client to make changes as necessary.
